This is one of my favorite times of the year for portrait photos.

The sun produces a softer light you get the early morning mists and golden evening light. Along with that nature gives us an awesome display of color as the trees shake off their leafy cloak in preparation for my other favorite time of year, Spring.

As the trees take a big sigh ready for their winter slumber they bless us with the most fabulous natural confetti, that is great for throwing about and playing in. Autumns version of snow!!
