Happy new year!
Sorry it’s been a while since my last post and I hope you had a fabulous Christmas.
I was busy doing a lot of newborn/young baby shoots in the run up to Christmas, swapping the outdoors for indoors. It’s a good addition for me as the winter months can be very quiet for a predominately outdoor photographer!
Each shoot presented unique challenges as they took place in the clients own home and every home is different. Lighting and the immediate environment required flexible and creative thinking when it came to setting up. You can certainly see why many photographers choose to have their own studio! However, regardless of the temptation, I know that my clients like the fact I come to them and for this reason I am not considering changing my service anytime soon.

This was a set up I created for a newborn shoot in one clients home . It’s amazing what can be achieved in a small space with minimal equipment.
Now I am looking forward to later in the year when I can get back outside with some of the older babies, among the flowers and nature. I have recently purchased an additional prop for this purpose which I am looking forward to experimenting with.
Shortly I will be advertising my dates and prices for my Bluebell wood and Lavender field photo shoots. I am also considering an additional location to offer a limited number of sessions. I hope you can join me.
